A note from the author:
Hello friends, new and old! Thanks for being here. I launched this project in fall 2019 on Instagram as a way to combine my interest in cemeteries with my love for the city I call home, Pittsburgh. My hope here is to simply share with you the beauty I see in our area’s cemeteries, graveyards, funerary grounds, memorial parks, and places of rest. In winter 2022, I began blogging about my cemetery adventures as a way to more thoroughly catalogue this project. I welcome you to follow along with the blog here. Below each blog title, you can click on the category link (example: “Allegheny Cemetery”) to see all the entries associated with that particular cemetery. It’s a goal of mine to update the blog much more frequently in 2022, so I hope you stay tuned! And please, as always, feel free to contact me with any questions or comments 🤍
